CIS 1410 Web Site Design Final Project Guidelines

Part 1: Site planning and Design: (Due by Nov 30)

A brief description of the site you want to create.

For my final project I want to create a website based around the basic things you should learn when creating Pokémon Games using a kit called Pokémon Essentials. I want to show how you can easily create your own maps, add wild encounters and how to actually use and install Pokémon Essentials.

Three similar web site addresses.

List of site goals and the website’s purpose statement.

  • Learn the basics of how to create your own Pokémon Game without using a gba rom.
  • The goals of the site will be for someone who has no idea how to make a Pokemon game.
  • They will hopefully learn the basics and by the end of it should be able to make there own maps, edit tilesets, edit wild encounters and much more!

Target audience information

  • Learn how to add your own custom tilesets or edit existing tilesets that come with the base essentials using either Photoshop or Paint.net
  • Add in your own custom Pokemon.
  • Add in your very own custom type.
  • Player Outfits(change the player character looks with a custom item)
  • Add in wild encounters
  • Show how to install and run Pokemon Essentials using RpgMakerXp

Define your website’s color scheme, page layouts. Use paleton.com to determine
color schemas, submit screenshots of your selection.

Create a Storyboard or wireframe (handwritten photographed or digital format) of
the website, the site navigation and page connectivity. Refer to the following
websites for more information on storyboard or wireframe:
